A Word From Dr. Megan Lubin
I am honored and humbled to be voted to the position of Chairperson for the Department of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Community Medical Center for 2021-2023. Over the next two years, as the Department’s Chairperson, I plan to lead the members in further advancing the highly specialized field of podiatric medicine and surgery. This can be accomplished through interdepartmental collaborations designed to build relationships, support professional development and education as well as to enhance the quality of patient care.
I am excited to play an active role in supporting the Department’s newly approved podiatric surgical residency program, which will officially begin July 2021. The residency program will be an important step in furthering the education and development of podiatric resident physicians to prepare them for the next steps in their careers. Our core faculty is dedicated, diversified, and highly specialized, and eager to share their knowledge and to mentor the incoming residents and I look forward to guiding them to secure the program’s success.
Additionally, I look forward to providing visionary leadership to develop strategies that will improve the Department efficiencies, increase education and research as well as support academic development to ensure our continuous growth in the specialty of podiatric medicine and surgery. It is my goal to continue to nurture the development of our department and commit that we continue to support the community with the highest quality patient care
